Welcome to DiscountVouchersKing.co.uk, the blog that saves you money by revealing the latest discount codes, money off vouchers, hot offers and promotional coupons for many online retailers. Keep up to date with our RSS feed or discount newsletter as this site will continue to grow with more online stores. If your favourite retailer isn't featured please let us know! A discount voucher is a word or collection of numbers and letters than can be used to save money on products and services at many retailers online. They're not random; they are distributed by stores such as Play.com, Comet or Halfords as a way of encouraging you, the customer, to spend your money with them. At the checkout, there may be a box called "discount code" or "promotional code". This is where you paste the discount code which we might list here. Check out our A-Z of stores or go through our categories if you're not decided on where to shop.
Discount vouchers can also be referred to as voucher codes. In either case, we clearly display the voucher code that should help you save money. If you click on the voucher code, it will automatically be copied to your clipboard so that you can simply paste it into the required box at the online store. This is especially handy for long, complicated codes like the Dell discount codes!
Discount codes are commonly referred to as coupons in America. We have coupons here too, but they tend to be physical vouchers usually in magazines that can be cut out and used at supermarkets and high street stores to get money off.
A freebie is something you can get for free with no catch, usually a product sample to encourage you to try something new and buy more in the future.
You don't always need a code to save money. Many stores occasionally offer great deals or offers such as cutting the price off a certain product or category or products for a limited time. This might be to get rid of old season stock, sell an over-supply of products or just to celebrate an event such as the World Cup or Easter. We don't list every deal and offer we receive, just the ones we think represent really good value for you and other readers.
Most online stores hold at least one big sale a year. This is an event where the majority of stock has considerable price reductions and is usually to encourage customers to buy in periods when spending is low, such as the infamous January sales where few people have money to spend after Christmas. Again, we don't list every sale we receive information about, but we do feature certain sales that we think represent amazing value and that will interest you.
Most voucher codes, deals and offers have an expiry date which means they only work for a limited time. Most discount codes may be used more than once up until the expiration date. After a code has expired, it is unlikely to work. We clearly display the expiration date for every discount code we list (unless we aren't given one, in which case we suggest the expiry is unknown) and our automated system presents out of date codes as "expired" so you can see clearly which ones are most likely to work.
We are proud to comply with the IAB online voucher codes Code of Best Practice and happy to be listed in the WINKI voucher code directory.
